Starting with debt. Leaving aside the NDIS, let’s look at the big spend on the net zero program.
A lot is concealed off-budget in the Capacity Investment Scheme. The concealment is a scandal, and so is the amount of money required in addition to rewire the nation going forward. That could amount to a trillion, just about matching the national debt.
Housing. Will someone please estimate the number of houses you could build with the concrete, steel and other building materials, and the army of tradesmen, burying them in holes in the ground underneath windmills?
The cost of power.
Get wind and solar off the grid and use conventional power, mostly coal, as we did once upon a time, when we had manufacturing industries.
You worry about the rack and ruin in the forests and farmlands?
Simple, stop installing windmills and all the other RE junk that just makes the electricity system more expensive, supporting the Chinese economy while we destroy ours.
